The CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development has trained more than 1000 professionals on sustainability reporting process since 2007. The course consists of 4 modules which will be delivered through live sessions on the designated date. The CII-Certified Program on Sustainability Reporting accelerates the adoption of Sustainability reporting skills of senior executives. Delivered in a series of modules online, this certified program can take your your career to the next level. Participants completing all four modules will be eligible for a e-certificate. Participants who do not wish to apply for the full certificate, can opt for individual modules.

Module 1: Introduction to GRI Standards and Disclosures (INR 2,000) 16th June 2020

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a network-based organization that has pioneered the development of the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting framework and is committed to its continuous improvement and application worldwide since its inception in 1997. The 2 hours course shall cover the structure of GRI Standards, standards and requirements of GRI.

Module 2: Cracking Materiality Assessment and Stakeholder Concern (INR 3,500) 19th June 2020

The universe of potential “material” issues is growing as new stakeholder campaigns, public policy debates, standards, regulations, and global events demand the attention of companies worldwide. Stakeholders are expecting more corporate action on the most demanding problems and more access and transparency into what’s behind their sustainability focus. The course will help participants to identify an organization’s most "material issues" and determine what should be reported.

Module 3: GRI Standards and its cross alignment with other ESG reporting Frameworks (INR 2,500) 23rd June 2020

Reporting sustainability performance on multiple-formats such as GRI, <IR>, CDP, DJSI, SASB, UNGC etc. can be overwhelming at times. While each framework may seem to be in competition with each other, these are designed to fulfil different objectives and report to different audiences. Companies need to understand these differences and allocate their resources in most efficient manner. The 2-hour course shall equip participants to understand the objectives of different reporting frameworks, their requirements and commonalities.

Module 4: Developing Sustainability Report as per GRI Standards and best cases (INR 2,500) 26th June 2020

Participants shall learn to prepare and communicate Sustainability report based on GRI Standards. Course shall cover combination of best practices, case examples and exercises to enable participants to learn the best methods of reporting.
