To acknowledge, reward, and recognize innovations and solutions in the Indian plastic packaging sector, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) through its CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, brings the second cycle of the CII Sustainable Plastic Packaging Awards.
The Award recognises upstream innovations and design changes in plastic packaging by businesses driving the transition towards a circular plastic economy in India.

Three categories will be recognised in the 2026 Award cycle.
Businesses can submit their applications under any of the seven sub-categories: A1, A2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2, and C
Note:
1. Contact-sensitive application refers to packaging that is in direct contact with food and beverages, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products. For all such applications, additional documents will be required at the Questionnaire stage.
2. Applications for packaging of alcohol, tobacco and tobacco products are not eligible.
3. Application for tube or tray formats to be submitted under the sub-category ‘Rigid plastic packaging’.
