Mr Sanjiv Puri is the Chairman and Managing Director of ITC Limited, one of India’s foremost conglomerates with businesses spanning FMCG, Hotels, Paperboards & Packaging, Agri- Business, and Information Technology. He is also the Chairman of ITC Infotech India Limited and its wholly owned subsidiaries in USA and UK as well as the Chairman of Surya Nepal Private Limited, a joint venture subsidiary company of ITC in Nepal. Mr Puri is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and the Wharton School of Business, USA. He has had a career of over three decades at ITC and its subsidiaries.

Spearheading the ‘ITC Next’ vision, Mr Puri has driven an extensive strategy reset to define new vectors of growth for each business with greater focus on consumer-centricity, agility, resilience, and innovation to build an even more competitive, future-ready, climate positive and inclusive enterprise. His emphasis on purposeful and cutting-edge innovation has led to the creation of sharp focused R&D platforms in areas aligned to market opportunities, that is continuously developing several differentiated as well as first-to-market products addressing dynamic and evolving consumer preferences.

Mr Sanjiv Puri has served as the Chairman of the Expert Group constituted by the Fifteenth Finance Commission of the Government of India to promote agri-exports and was a Member of the technology discussion group ‘Farm to Table – driving India’s agriculture sector digitally’ constituted by the NITI Aayog.

Presently, Mr Puri serves as the President-Designate of CII. He is the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, Co-Chair of the CII Associations Council as well as the Membership Council and a Member of the CII Economic Affairs Council. He is a Director on the Board of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, Co-Chair of the ‘Business Commission to Tackle Inequality’ set up by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. He is also the Chairman of the ‘Action Council on ESG in Business’ under the aegis of Business 20 India, the official dialogue forum with the global business community as part of India’s G20 Presidency.

Mr Sanjiv Puri was conferred the ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award of the year 2018’ by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He was bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate by the XIM University, Bhubaneshwar and also honoured with the ‘IMPACT Person of the Year, 2020’ Award by exchange4media, a leading online news platform.

Mr Jon Moore is the CEO of BloombergNEF taking on this role at the end of 2013. BloombergNEF (BNEF) is a strategic research provider covering global commodity markets and the disruptive technologies driving the transition to a low-carbon economy. BNEF assesses pathways for the power, transport, industry, buildings and agriculture sectors to adapt to the energy transition, helping commodity traders, corporate strategists, finance and policy professionals navigate change.

Mr Jon Moore joined New Energy Finance in 2008, which became BloombergNEF in 2010.

Prior to 2008, Mr Moore spent two decades in capital markets, the first decade at JPMorgan and then Accenture, the second decade as co-founder and CEO of a capital Markets management consulting firm, based in London and New York.

Ms. Seema Arora pioneered the creation of services on Sustainable Development within CII. Her journey with CII began with engaging Indian Industry towards the run up to the Earth Summit in 1992.

Seema Arora works on designing innovative products and frameworks to build the business case for industry to invest in Sustainability and CSR. She works with Industry, Government and Community based organisations to develop policy instruments, curate collaborative initiatives across sector and stakeholders and develops innovative voluntary approaches to Sustainable Development. She has created and incubated innovative alliances such as India CEO Forum on Clean Air, CII Climate Action Charter, India Plastics Pact, India Business and Biodiversity Initiative, and India Business and Disability Network etc.

Her portfolios in CII include the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, Development Initiatives, CII Foundation, and Indian Women Network.

She has been a member of the World Economic Forum and GRI Stake Holder Council.

Seema Arora has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Delhi University. She is a part of the Asian Impact Leaders Network Co-created by AVPN & Rockefeller Foundation. She has Thirty plus years of experience in the field of Sustainable Development

Mr. T V Narendran is the CEO & Managing Director of Tata Steel Limited. As the CEO & MD, he has overseen the organic and inorganic growth of Tata Steel over the last few years. He has over 35 years of experience in the Mining and Metals industry.

Mr. Narendran is currently on the Board of Tata Steel Limited. He is the Chairman of Tata Steel Europe and Tata Steel Long Products Limited. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of XLRI Jamshedpur. He is a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of the World Steel Association. He was the co-chair of the Mining & Metals Governors Council of the World Economic Forum from 2016 to 2018. He is a fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering. He served as the President of the Indian Institute of Metals from 2021 to 2022. He has also served as the President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) from 2021 to 2022.

Mr. Narendran is a Mechanical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy and did his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. He is a recipient of Distinguished Alumnus Awards from both NIT Trichy and IIM Calcutta. He is a Chevening Scholar and has also attended the Advanced Management Programme in INSEAD, France.”

Mr Dominic Kailashnath Waughray is the Executive Vice President (EVP) and a member of the Leadership Team (LT) at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), based in Geneva Switzerland.

He joined WBCSD in October 2021 as Senior Adviser to the President and CEO where he led business efforts to accelerate the WBCSD imperatives tackling climate change, nature loss and inequality. In January 2023, he took the role of EVP for Imperatives.

In his role as EVP, Mr Waughray leads the Imperatives of Climate, Nature, and Equity Action as part of WBCSD’s strategy. Working closely with WBCSD Member companies, he focuses on building, scaling, and accelerating collaborative business solutions that: reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mainstream climate change adaptation; improve corporate accountability for decarbonization; scale corporate action to become nature positive; grow high integrity investments in nature-based solutions; and tackle rising inequality. He also has responsibility for WBCSD’s policy and advocacy, membership criteria and the Global Network. He works in close partnership to deliver these business solutions with WBCSD’s Pathways and Redefining Value Program pillars.

Before joining WBCSD, he was Managing Director and Member of the Managing Board at the World Economic Forum, where he built and led the Forum’s sustainability agenda from 2005. Prior to joining the World Economic Forum, Mr Waughray served as Principal Partner and Member of the UK OpCo Executive Committee for Environmental Resources Management (ERM), the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy – and WBCSD member. During his 8 years with ERM he undertook numerous management and consulting roles, gaining extensive international and cross-sector experience. Prior to ERM, he was the inaugural environmental economist at the UK Natural Environment Research Council Institute of Hydrology, where he served for 4 years and was posted across Africa, MENA and Asia working with multidisciplinary scientific teams.

Mr Waughray received a BA (Hons) and an MA (Cantab) in Geography from the University of Cambridge, UK, and an MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from University College London.

Mr Wim Van Gerven started his professional career in 1988 as an Electrical Maintenance Manager at ArcelorMittal Gent, where he held various senior positions, prior to being appointed General Manager of the Cold Rolling Works in 2002. In 2005 he moved to Eisenhüttenstadt, as the Head of Downstream and in October 2008 he was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of ArcelorMittal, Poland. In 2011 Mr Van Gerven became Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal Gent, before being promoted to CEO of ArcelorMittal Europe Flat Products, business division North, in 2014. In February 2019 he took up the position of COO, ArcelorMittal Europe Flat Products where he had led strategic projects for the business. before being appointed COO of ArcelorMittal Europe Flat Products – Cluster Italy in October 2019. Mr Van Gerven became the Director of Operations at AM/NS India in March 2020.

Mr Van Gerven holds a master’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Gent, Belgium, as well as an MBA from the Vlerick Leuven – Gent Management School, Belgium.

Mr Fabrice Aidan joined ENGIE as its global Advisor for International Affairs in January 2023. He is an accomplished French diplomat, most recently serving as the senior advisor to UNESCO’s Director-General for External and Institutional Relations, responsible for government engagement.

Mr Aidan has taken on a number of high-impact postings over his 20+ year diplomatic and private sector career, with a particular focus on Middle East diplomacy, global challenges (e.g., climate change, environment, international development), cross-border finance, and the preservation of the world’s intellectual and cultural heritage. These include the French Foreign Ministry, the French Mission to the United Nations and the United Nations Secretariat across the Middle East and in New York. While with the Edmond de Rothschild Bank, he advised the Global Financial Group on public and international affairs and political risk mitigation. Fabrice is a seasoned and fair-minded negotiator deftly navigating complex multilateral and multicultural environments.

Mr. Aidan earned a master’s degree in business administration from HEC, France’s leading School of Business and Management, and a degree in Arabic and Islamic studies from the Sorbonne University. He is fluent in French, English, Arabic and Hebrew. He co-authored “The Search for Peace in the Arab-Israeli Conflict”, published by Oxford University Press (2014).

Ms Antha N. Williams leads the Environment program at Bloomberg Philanthropies. Under Ms Williams’ direction, Bloomberg Philanthropies supports environmental initiatives to improve sustainability of cities around the world, to accelerate the transition to clean energy, to combat overfishing and protect coral reefs, and to help businesses and investors better understand climate-related financial risks and opportunities.

Bloomberg Philanthropies’ environment program also serves as the hub of Michael Bloomberg’s personal efforts to combat climate change including in his role as United Nations Secretary- General’s Special Envoy on Climate Ambition and Solutions, Chair of the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures and as co-chair of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero. 

Previously, Ms Antha Williams served as Senior Vice President at Corridor Partners, a donor advisory firm focused on climate and clean energy. She also worked as the Advocacy Executive at Atlantic Philanthropies and as a Program Officer at Beldon Fund. She has an extensive history serving on the boards of numerous climate and environment NGOs and foundations. 

Ms Williams graduated from Dartmouth College and lives in New York.

Mr Eisenhower Swaminathan is a chemical Engineer with a master’s in business administration and has over 49 years of industrial experience. He comes with experience in various industries viz Abrasive, Refractories, Ceramics and Aluminum manufacturing.

He joined Saint- Gobain in the year 2005 and at present is working as Managing Director. He was responsible for operations and implementing major expansion projects both New / Greenfield of Saint – Gobain Glass Business in last 17 years in various States.

Mr Swaminathan has held responsible positions in CII as: the Chairman of CII Chennai Zone during 2012–13, Chairman, CII Tamil Nadu State Council for 2015-16, Member, CII Southern Regional Council, 2016-18, Member, CII National Council, 2020-2024 as well as Co-Chair, CII National Committee on Environment

He is supported by his wife Geetha Eisenhower and 3 Children.

Mr Christian Cahn von Seelen joined the Board of SAVWIPL in an Executive capacity in March 2022 and is responsible for steering the Sales & Marketing for the Group’s brands – ŠKODA, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini and Group After Sales in the Indian region.

As Head of Management of Global Regions, he was responsible for management of strategically important regions of ŠKODA AUTO including India, China, North Africa, and Russia. In his capacity as Chairman of SAVWIPL, he was involved with the operations of the merged entity SAVWIPL right from the beginning.

An automotive industry veteran, with over 30 years of experience, Mr Christian Cahn von Seelen completed his Diploma in Physics Study from the University of Stuttgart. He joined Daimler-Benz AG in 1991 and over the years has held various leadership role in Mercedes- Benz Brazil and Mercedes-Benz Germany. He joined ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in 2011 and has been instrumental in the Group’s success story across the years.

Mr Vivek Saxena is the Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting (F&A) and Enterprise Risk & Compliance (ERC) Service Line leader at Genpact. He has over 25 years’ experience working with Fortune 500 companies for designing and delivering multi-tower business transformation solutions, incorporating data, tech, and AI. In his role as F&A leader, Genpact’s biggest service line has grown revenue by ten times, Mr Saxena’s engagements have created a billion-dollar impact for global clients and market analysts have consistently rated Genpact amongst the top two leaders in F&A space. He also works closely with C-Suite leadership to transform their risk operations with solutions like control digitization, SOX compliance, IT risk management, audit analytics, third-party risk management and ESG compliance. He also leads the sustainability practice helping companies understand and progress on the risks and opportunities in this space.

 
Mr Vivek Saxena has led the development of cutting-edge digital solutions at Genpact, for the office of CFO, leveraging technologies like micro-platforms, robotics automation, process mining and AI. His focus on innovation has resulted in multiple patents filed across F&A and risk management domains. He holds two patent grants in his name from USPTO for process maturity and intelligent automation models.

Mr Vivek Saxena is a regular blogger and has presented his thought leadership views on the future of finance, process automation, impact of AI on F&A, continuous accounting, and On- Demand close. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from India, CPA & CISA from the USA and a Harvard Business School alumnus. He is an avid Golfer and has run marathons including international majors across the globe.”

Mr Brajesh Chhibber is a Partner based in McKinsey’s New Delhi office. In the course of his 12-year tenure with the firm, he has worked with leading companies in the automotive and assembly sector enabling them to drive change at scale while building capabilities and creating value.

Mr Chhibber’s areas of expertise include strategy, product-planning and development, margin-optimization, and operations transformation. Examples of his recent client projects are – leading the cost-transformation program at a marquee two-wheeler OEM, along with institutionalizing the cost culture and necessary capabilities to sustain the impact; and conceptualizing electric vehicle (EV) strategy for an attacker OEM, along with helping the client secure product partnerships and build this business vertically from scratch.

Mr Brajesh Chhibber also co-leads the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility in India, the firm’s thinktank on new age mobility disruptions. His recent published work includes a report on the Future of Mobility in India and a post-pandemic perspective on the Indian Automotive Industry.

Mr Anurag Johri is the Managing Director and Lead for Accenture’s Utilities industry and renewables practice in India. He has two decades of experience in strategy development, digital led business transformation, sales and marketing, and large-scale program management. He has worked extensively with clients in the renewable sector and industries such as power, infrastructure, steel, mining, cement, paper, agro- chemicals, oil and gas around energy efficiency and sustainable practices. He has worked in several countries including India, Bahrain, Brazil, Ethiopia, Indonesia, United Kingdom, and United Arab Emirates.

Mr Johri has been a mentor for entrepreneurs and startups in the sustainability and renewables sector. He has been a mentor and jury for the Power of Ideas initiative of IIM-Ahmedabad and The Economic Times for over five years and a mentor for start-ups at 91Springboard since 2015. He is also a mentor for students at the University of Sheffield, UK. He is a familiar face at public events and media forums and has spoken on energy mix, renewables, smart grid, green hydrogen among other topics.

Dr. Rohini Srivathsa is the National Technology Officer at Microsoft India. In her role, she is responsible for driving innovation and growth through ‘tech-intensity’ – across industry and the government. She began her career in R&D at AT&T Bell Laboratories in the US, then pivoted to a career in strategy consulting at the Boston Consulting Group and IBM Global Business Services in India and emerging markets. Her R&D and strategy experiences converged in the next phase of her career as the CTO of Janalakshmi Financial Services (now Jana Small Finance Bank), where Rohini was responsible for driving tech-driven business transformation towards financial inclusion among the urban underserved.

Dr Rohini Srivathsa is a thought-leader, advisor and contributor to several industry bodies, government, and academia forums and publications. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, earned her PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Indian School of Business (ISB) Executive Education

Mr Aravindan Srinivasan is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of programming for the health and climate portfolios at AVPN. This includes driving engagement with AVPN members, identifying strategic engagement with partners; designing innovative programs to address unique needs emerging, and leading communications about Asia’s leadership in these thematic areas.

Mr Srinivasan has 15 years of experience across the private sector and the social impact sector. Aravind holds a Postgraduate degree in Management from the Indian School of Business and a Civil Engineering Degree from the National Institute of Technology. He serves on the board of local community development organizations in India such as "Maatram", "Mukkamaar" and "Karnataka Health Promotion Trust".

Mr Andrew Staples represents Economist Impact on the global stage and leads the policy research team in Asia. He was previously the global editorial director of The Economist Corporate Network (ECN)—The Economist Group’s briefing and advisory service designed to help senior business leaders understand and navigate the local and regional business environment. A seasoned public speaker, he regularly chairs and moderates major Economist events, delivers custom briefings to senior executives (including Fortune 500 C-suite) and public figures (including heads of state) in his areas of expertise, which include geopolitics and geo- economics, foreign direct investment, international trade, and strategy. He also regularly appears in the international business media (BBC, CNN, CNBC, and Channel News Asia).

Mr Andrew Staples has a PhD in International Political Economy and an MSc in East Asian Business, both from the University of Sheffield, UK. He was a Ministry of Education research scholar at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo (2001-2003) and before joining The Economist Group, Andrew pursued an academic career holding both tenured and adjunct posts at leading universities and business schools in Japan and the UK. He has published widely in his areas of expertise and major publications include Responses to Regionalism in East Asia: Japanese Production Networks in the Automotive Sector published as part of the Palgrave Macmillan Asian Business Series and chapters in edited volumes including Asian Inward and Outward FDI: New Challenges in the Global Economy and popular textbooks including Asian Business and Management.

Mr Nakul Zaveri has over 20 years of experience spanning entrepreneurial, operational, and investing activities. He brings relevant investing experience across Climate and Responsible Investment strategies including investing in renewables, climate tech, industrial/ enterprise efficiency, evolving consumer priorities, and related value chains.

Mr Zaveri joined LeapFrog in 2022 and in his current role guides LeapFrog’s climate strategy, focussed on supporting pathways out of poverty for emerging consumers that also deliver rapid decarbonisation of all sectors of industry.

Previously, he was the Managing Partner at Relativity Investment Management, a sustainability focused investment manager, where he made investments in high-growth companies addressing risks and opportunities created by megatrends of climate change, demographic shift, and increasing use of technology.

Mr Nakul Zaveri has an MBA from the University of Oxford’s Said Business School and is a member of Exeter College in Oxford. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce & Economics from the University of Mumbai’s Sydenham College.

Ms Regula Schegg is Founding Partner and Chief Financial & Operating Officer (CF&OO). She is a key member of the Leadership Team, overseeing all Asia investments and portfolio companies, and the Latin America Investment Committee. Regula is responsible for all corporate functions, including corporate finance, HR, IT, investor relations, legal & compliance, and fund management.

Throughout her career, Ms Schegg has held leadership roles in various sectors and regions, including corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, strategic finance/controlling, and business development. Prior to joining Circulate Capital, she worked with global companies such as Hilti Group, SAM Private Equity (now Emerald Ventures), and Sulzer Group. Apart from her corporate engagements, she has also been involved in the social impact space, where she established a social enterprise in the affordable housing sector in the Philippines and created a microfinance investment vehicle for the Grameen Foundation.

Ms Regula Schegg’s educational background includes an MBA (Honors) in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, USA, and undergraduate studies completed in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and France. She is an Aspen Institute Business & Society First

Movers Fellow 2011 and actively participates on several advisory boards, while also contributing as a mentor to the growth of women-led SMEs. She is fluent in German and English and conversant in French and Spanish. She is based in Singapore.

Ms Shuva Raha is a member of the CEO’s Foresight Team, and as part of the International Cooperation portfolio, heads four Regional Desks – Asia-Oceania, Europe, Africa-MENA, and the Americas, spanning 25 countries. She leads major energy-development-climate initiatives amidst geopolitical and economic transformations, including energy security and transition; industrial decarbonisation; sustainable production and consumption; and climate resilience. She engages with governments, industry, and institutions to impact sustainable development at scale, expand CEEW’s influence as a voice for emerging economies, and take the ‘India Story’ global.

Ms Raha manages CEEW’s advisory to India’s G20 Presidency and its UN Energy Compacts initiative via partnerships with Union Ministries; is a Global Solutions Initiative Fellow, and an UNFCCC CoP Observer since 2016. Her co-authored 2020 report, Jobs, Growth and Sustainability: A New Social Contract for India’s Recovery, is archived at the US Library of Congress.

MS Shuva Raha has ~23 years of experience in public policy, project management, corporate operations, and branding. Previously, as Head – New Initiatives, Energy & Infrastructure at the CII, she led key assignments such as CII’s work with the International Solar Alliance. Before transitioning to a career in public policy, Shuva was COO of CMYK Multimedia, the infotech subsidiary of Pioneer Newsgroup, New Delhi.

Ms Shuva Raha manages her family's philanthropic initiative to finance the education of underprivileged students through the Subir Raha Memorial Scholarship. She is a Postgraduate in Advertising & Communications Management from NMIMS, Mumbai, where she ranked First and was awarded the Advertising Agencies Association of India Raman Memorial Trophy. She has a BSc Honours with Distinction in Life Sciences and Biochemistry from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

Mr. S. Sivakumar is the Group Head of Agri and IT Businesses in ITC Limited and is a Member of its Corporate Management Committee. He also oversees ITC’s Sustainability as well as Social Investments Programmes.

Mr Sanjay Sacheti is the Country Manager of Olam Agri India Pvt Ltd which is one of the Indian subsidiaries of the Singapore headquartered global agribusiness, Olam Group Ltd. Olam Agri has a diversified business in India spanning across commodities like Rice, Grains, cotton, sugar, Edible Oils, and oilseeds. Treasury business is also a mainstay of the Indian operations. It has a footprint across more than 10 states with industry leading position in crops like Rice and Cotton. He has been with the Olam group since 2000.

In a career spanning around 34 years, Mr Sacheti has also worked with various MNCs and Indian corporate houses like Unilever, ITC ConAgra, the Tata group and the Eicher group. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.

On the industry front, he is a member of the National Agriculture Committee of CII where he also heads the Task Force on Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs). He had also been nominated on the High-Level Expert Group constituted by the 15 th Finance Commission of the Govt of India to recommend Export promotion and Import substitution measures for agricultural products from India.

Beyond his professional life, Mr Sacheti likes to indulge in various outdoor activities like horse riding, tennis, motor biking & cycling. He is also an avid traveler who particularly enjoys driving holidays across multiple geographies.

Mr D Narain (D) is President, South Asia, and Global Head of Smallholder Farming for Bayer. As President for South Asia, he oversees Bayer’s Life Science business operations across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, and as Global Head of Smallholder Farming, he leads the efforts focused on providing holistic and innovative solutions for farmers in developing economies to enable them to grow their farms into sustainable businesses.

Mr Narain has more than 3 decades of global experience in the Food and Agriculture sector having worked in leadership roles in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. He is a passionate advocate of transforming Smallholder Agriculture globally to improve livelihoods and fostering rural development through building and scaling socially focused commercial enterprises. He has also been a pioneer in bringing innovative financing and risk management solutions to farmers across the world.

Passionate about driving leadership and organisation development including inclusion and diversity, Mr Narain has mentored hundreds of leaders across functions throughout his career. Ms Ankita Marwaha has over 23 years of experience in the FMCG segment. During this period, she has been associated with eminent companies like Unilever and Marico Ltd, having worked in the area of product development, nutrition, and clinical research. She has been involved in clinical research in the area of Diabetes & Cholesterol Management & has both national & international published papers to her credit.

Dr B Dayakar Rao is a seasoned agricultural researcher with about three decades of experience in the country's millets’ processing, value addition, marketing, and policy & entrepreneurship development in India. Dr Dayakar is credited with piloting a successful millet value chain ecosystem with end-to-end solutions for creating demand for millets and being replicated in the states of Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and supporting the State Governments of Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

He is a member of the core committee for IYM 2023 which has significantly contributed to draw the road map and action plan for IYM 2023. He also served as chairman/member of different Task Force groups constituted by the GoI for millet promotion. Dr Dayakar has significantly contributed to developing and strengthening millet processing and value addition at ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research through Nutrihub, a Technology Business Incubator. Today, ICAR-IIMR is to be upgraded as a ‘Global Centre of Excellence’ to share knowledge and best practices with the world.

Dr Dayakar has developed of 60+ technologies, 50+ value-added products, created 200+ recipes under various research projects and commercialized them through the Nutrihub-IIMR. He has to his credit, more than 50 research papers, 40 book chapters, and several popular articles published in various national & international journals including 2 patents and 2 copyrights for innovations in millet processing technology. Further, he has mentored 400+ startups, and incubated more than 200 of them with financial facilitation of about 7 crores (grant in aid) with more than 150 technologies transferred to these startups/entrepreneurs.

Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed is the CEO and Director of C‐CAMP from 2009 till present. His initial training has been in neurosciences, where he received his PhD from Max‐Planck Institute for Brain Research, Germany from 2002‐2006 and followed it up by postdoctoral training at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) from 2006‐2009. At the same time, he also underwent training in management for Biotech and Innovation from QB3 at UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, and UC San Francisco from 2007‐2009. He has also completed a biotech management program for biotech executives at Wharton School of Management in the year 2012. In the Bay area, he served as a Management Consultant with QB3 New Biotech Venture Consulting and in an individual capacity, he also consulted for many biotech firms in the US.

Dr. Saiyed is an Adjunct Faculty at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and also Amrita Institute ‐ School of Biotechnology since 2015. He also heads the Discovery to Innovation Accelerator program at C‐CAMP. He is actively involved in promoting innovation in life science / healthcare by supporting translation of discoveries to application, entrepreneurship, and technology development.

Mr Vairamani Ramanathan is a research leader with more than 24 years of experience in the Indian Agriculture Industry. He has a Strong technical background in genetics, crop breeding, novel breeding technologies, agricultural biotechnology, crop protection and crop nutrition. His expertise is in exploring synthetic biology options in agrochemical production.

Mr Ramanathan has a PhD in Plant Biotechnology from Madurai Kamraj University, India and Post doctoral fellow in Israel and the USA for three and a half years

Mr Paulo Macedo is the Global Director of International Relations & Advocacy at Raizen, the largest player of ethanol, sugar, and integrated bioenergy in the world. Prior to Raizen, he was the Vice President of Shell in Latin America & Caribbean, Deputy Chairman and VP of Shell in the Middle East and VP of Shell South America. In his 27 years of experience, Mr Macedo has also held several executive positions at Heineken Brewing Company and The Coca-Cola Company in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Mr Paulo Macedo currently resides in the US and looks after all of Raizen’s advocacy and public affairs efforts globally. He holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Sao Paulo, and a master’s degree in law from Harvard University and an MBA from Emory University.

Dr Samiran Mahapatra has 25+ years of experience in research, development, and innovation management. He works seamlessly both at the science and business end of the R&D spectrum.

He has worked in various departments in Unilever R&D and has been involved in the development of several new technologies, many of these innovations have moved from lab to marketplace.

Dr Mahapatra joined Unilever R&D as Senior Scientist in 1997 and is now heading Science & Technology of Home Hygiene globally. He has worked for several years in developing innovations for drinking water purification. He helped launch Unilever’s Pureit water purifier, which gives water ‘as safe as boiled water’ without the need of electricity and running tap water. He has built the Open Innovation network and partnership models in R&D for Unilever in India.

Dr Samiran Mahapatra received his PhD degree in Chemistry from IIT Kanpur in 1993. He then joined the University of Minnesota (USA) as a postdoctoral associate working in the area of Bio- Inorganic chemistry. His discovery of copper di-oxo system made from molecular oxygen (published in Science) resulted in creating a new field of research and is now part of textbooks.

Dr Mahapatra is the co-inventor of 50+ patents. He has ~40 publications with ~2500+ citations and H-index of 25. He is an expert committee member of Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India, and at the advisory committee of Institute of Nano Science & Technology (INST), Mohali.

Mr Valentin de Miguel is the Chief Strategy Officer for Accenture in Growth Markets – comprising market units of Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America. In this role, he will be responsible for Growth Markets’ organic growth, ventures, and acquisitions, as well as special projects. Additionally, he is also the Sustainability Services Lead for Growth Markets.

Most recently, Mr Valentin de Miguel was the lead for Strategy & Consulting for Growth Markets. He was focused on helping C-suite executives develop and implement strategies to transform and reimagine their organizations to enable continuous innovation, from idea to execution.

In his long-standing career at Accenture, he has held other leadership roles, including Client Account Lead, Client Group Lead, Operating Unit Lead, and helmed industry roles for the resources industries (inclusive of utilities, energy, chemicals, and natural resources industries) across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. He has advised global utilities and oil companies on large-scale business transformations, mergers and acquisitions, digital journeys, and corporate and business unit strategies. Valentin also led Accenture’s Global Utilities practice in Retail and Accenture’s Smart Grid Services, where he was responsible for Accenture’s business in the Transmission and Distribution space for Utilities.

Mr Valentin de Miguel is currently the Deputy Co-chair for the Energy, Sustainability and Climate task force at the B20 India, a role he has held since B20 Indonesia.

He holds an MPhil degree in Business Administration from the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain), a Master of Business Administration at the University of Birmingham (UK), as well as a Diploma in Strategy and Org Design from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY). He has also attained double honours in Law and Business Administration at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain). Mr Valentin de Miguel is currently based in Asia and calls Singapore home.

Gauri Singh is the Deputy Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency. Ms. Singh brings more than 30 years of experience in policy, advocacy and project implementation within the field of renewable energy and sustainable development from India and the internationally.

Prior to joining IRENA, Ms. Singh worked within India’s federal government and at the apex level within provincial government. Federally, she was responsible for leading the development of the National Solar Mission of India policy in 2010, an early policy framework designed to drive solar power development across the country. At the Madhya Pradesh provincial Government, Ms. Singh steered rural development providing strategic planning and implementation guidance across the state for large initiatives. Her work involved poverty reduction and sustainable development within rural communities.

Previously, Ms. Singh was also Director of Country Support and Partnerships (CSP) at IRENA. She was responsible for regional and country level initiatives and for spearheading partnerships with regional energy and economic organisations

Mr Venkatesh R graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from University of Calicut and a Management degree in Operations and Marketing from University of Mumbai.

Mr Venkatesh has 30 years of experience in the Marine and Energy sectors. During his career in Wärtsilä he has worked in India, Singapore and Finland managing strategic roles. In his latest role, he has been Area Director for Middle East & Asia based in Singapore.

Within his role in Wärtsilä India, he is responsible for enhancing India’s market leadership with innovative life cycle solutions and accelerating the Renewables and Decarbonisation journey, propelling the business to greater heights.

Mr Wee Seng is Group Head of Energy, Renewables and Infrastructure (ERI) at DBS Bank. He is also a Director on the board of DBS China Ltd and was also the Country Head of DBS Vietnam from 2016 to 2021.

Mr Wee Seng played an integral role in the establishment of DBS’ project finance business, having set up the team in 2010. Within a decade, Wee Seng nurtured and built an award- winning team that is well-recognised today as one of Asia’s leading project finance banks. In testament to the strength of DBS’ project finance franchise, the bank was named Project Finance Advisory House of the Year Asia-Pacific by The Asset in both the 2021 and 2019 Triple A Infrastructure Awards, and has held the title of Best Project Finance House Singapore since 2017. Mr Oki Muraza is currently a Senior Vice President Research & Technology Innovation in Pertamina. Previously, he led numerous research projects and research group in Energy and Petrochemicals, where he secured about $ 6.2 million research grants from companies (Saudi Aramco, SABIC and KACST).

Mr Oki Muraza received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU Eindhoven) (Advisor: Prof. Jaap C. Schouten). He obtained his MSc in Chemical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft (TU Delft). He worked on selective production of propylene, heavy oil production and upgrading, methanol-to-propylene, coal-to-olefins, and catalysis for circular economy.

Prior to joining KFUPM as a Faculty, Mr Muraza worked as a Research Associate at The Petroleum Institute Abu Dhabi in a research collaboration with University of Minnesota (Prof. Michael Tsapatsis) on zeolite-based catalysts/adsorbents for hydrocarbon processing. He was a Japan Petroleum Institute Research Fellow Hokkaido University in 2011-2012 and a visiting researcher at Åbo Akademi Finland in 2007.

Mr Oki Muraza worked in offshore oil and gas operation with Repsol YPF-SES (now PHE OSES) as Chemical Supervisor and Production Supervisor From 2001 until 2002. He had an internship at the Shell Research and Technology Centre Amsterdam (SRTCA) and Shell Global Solutions International BV and at Dow Chemical in styrene-butadiene latex plant.

He received JPI Research Exchange Fellowship in 2011-2012, NIOK (Dutch Institute for Catalyst Research) Award as one of the highest scores in a NIOK examination (Catalysis, An Integrated Approach in December 2004) over about 50 PhD students in catalysis fields in the Netherlands. He was awarded with Huygens Scholarship (2003-2004), The Netherlands, UNESCO SFP, TU Delft Scholarship (2002-2004) and The Dow Chemical Company Scholarship (1997-2000).

Mr Shantanu Jaiswal is head of India research at BloombergNEF and is based in New Delhi. He leads a team responsible for producing policy, economic, business and investment analysis in the energy transition industries. From primary data collection to producing long-term scenario analysis, he is also involved in bespoke consultancy projects in India and neighbouring countries.

Mr Jaiswal has worked in several energy sectors including power, electric mobility. Sustainable finance, energy storage and biofuels. With 15 years of experience in renewable energy and power markets, he regularly speaks at conferences and is often quoted in the media. He is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA in Power Management.

Ms Usha Subramaniam is a Business and HR Leader with over two and a half decades of experience in varied functions, with the longest stint within Human Resources. Throughout her illustrious career, she has extensive experience collaborating with professionals from diverse countries as Denmark, US, Sweden, Poland, Russia, United Kingdom, China, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Ms Rumjhum Chatterjee is the Co-founder of The Infravision Foundation. She was a Co- Founder of the Feedback Infra Group and was its Group Managing Director till 2021.

A leading practitioner of the management of human capital in the infrastructure sector, she was recognized as one of the 20 Most Talented HR Leaders in India by the World HRD Congress in 2013.

Ms Rumjhum Chatterjee served as the first woman Chairperson for CII Northern Regional Council (2016-17) – the largest of the 4 Regions of CII, comprising 9 states.

She served as Chairperson of CII Women Exemplar Program for 2015-17 and has been part of the Jury of the Selection Committee of the same program since its inception. Mr Mohit Bansal leads the Public Affairs efforts for IKEA in India. He works with various policy stakeholders including the central government, various state governments, industry associations, Swedish and EU missions, think tanks, opinion makers, etc. to ensure a conducive policy and smooth business operations. He also leads on positioning IKEA among key stakeholders including on company’s sustainability initiatives.

Mr Bansal has two decades of rich experience working with world’s leading technology, retail, consulting organisations and Government bodies. He has done his MBA in International Business from the University of Delhi. He enjoys catching up on current affairs, sports and travelling.

Ms Tania Chatterjee, Head of Sustainability India has been with NatWest Group for over a decade and has held various roles in the People & Transformation function. In her current role, Tania is responsible for leading Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Colleague Volunteering and Climate Change programs. At the helm of all, she is responsible to drive and deliver the sustainability agenda of NatWest Group India.

 In her career span of 22 years, Ms Chatterjee has significantly contributed to leading strategic initiatives on diversity and inclusion, leadership development, talent management, Wellbeing and organizational culture.

Ms Sangeeta Robinson is the Chief Sustainability Officer of PVR INOX Limited and is leading ESG initiatives across each aspect in the lifecycle of cinema operations with the aim to create lasting value as also leveraging the power of cinema to influence and encourage cinegoers to make sustainable life choices.

With over two and a half decades of rich and diverse experience leading Sustainability, DEI and Communications at the Tata Group, Cummins, IBM and PVR Cinemas, she has been widely recognised for her innovative approach to communications and sustainable value-creating strategies. She is committed to creating impact where it matters most, enhancing brand salience and establishing responsible business practices across the value chain.

Ms Sangeeta Robinson has created the blueprint for inclusive entertainment in the country with specific focus on people with disabilities by addressing infrastructure constraints and use of enabling technologies. She has also been actively involved in influencing policy in favour of creating accessible content for Indian cinema and pushing for digital content accessibility as per WCAG 2.1 across education and employability sectors.

Ms Robinson is a co-author on SDG 8 and a CISR Expert candidate with SHERPA Institute, USA and GRI Certified Sustainability Practitioner. She has been Lead Assessor with the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development (CESD), evaluating companies against stringent Sustainability Excellence Standards. Her Communications portfolio consists of numerous award winning campaigns and initiatives designed to build brands, change perceptions and behaviours, enhance corporate image, and engage and motivate employees.

Ms Priya Chakrabarti is the HR Leader of Food Solutions South Asia for Cargill. Prior to Cargill, she was the head of HR for Azure Power India where she led various HR practices and programs ranging from total rewards,culture transformation, and diversity and inclusion.

With over 18 years of experience, Ms Priya Chakrabarti has worked across FMCG, Technology and Energy sectors in highly matrixed organizations such as Akzo Nobel India, Sab Miller, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. In the past eight years, she has held several HR leadership roles, partnering with C-suite leaders and board members to drive people and talent agenda for business growth. Ms Shubhra Jain is part of the Public Policy team at Amazon and looks after policy issues pertaining to sustainability for India.

She has extensive experience on urban development and sustainability issues, having worked with Government stakeholders in India as well as the international donor ecosystem, including the World Bank. Ms Jain holds an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an Executive MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Mr. Sanjeev Gupta heads the Corporate Strategy Group at Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. and is based in New Delhi. He has a rich experience in the Oil industry having handled different assignments in IndianOil. Mr. Gupta is a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur and MBA from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (Gold Medalist).

He has an experience of almost 30+ years in IndianOil covering functions such as Sales & Marketing, Operations, Human Resources, Business Development followed by a stint at Chairman Office before heading the Corporate Strategy Group.

Ms Swetha Ramdas is the Sustainability Leader at Amazon, India and drives various sustainability initiatives as part of Amazon’s Climate Pledge across renewable energy, buildings, sustainable transportation, packaging, water stewardship and the circular economy.

Prior to joining Amazon, Ms Swetha Ramdas was a consultant with a Singapore-based consulting firm and before that, she was a management consultant with PricewaterHouse Coopers (PwC). Ms Ramdas completed her Teach for India fellowship in 2012, where she taught at an under-resourced government school in Mumbai.

Mr Pramod Kumar is the General Manager, R&D at the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. He is currently stationed at the Green R&D Centre, Bangalore. His areas of interest are in FCC Technology, Biomass conversion technology, Turquoise Hydrogen and Crude to Chemical.

Among his many achievements, Mr Kumar is responsible for the commercializing of FCC Feed nozzle, Catalytic Visbreaking process. He has also commercialized high olefin FCC catalyst, Bottom cracking additives, CO combustion promoter etc. as well as the scale-up of Direct Crude to Chemical Technology, HCNG Technology. Mr Pramod kumar has more than 25 patents to his credit.

Mr S Viraraghavan is one of the Promoters of Greenjoules and its CEO. He has over 25 years of work experience in the domain of Agri, Food & FMCG. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from M.S University, Baroda, and a Management postgraduate from IIM Kolkata, he has worked in Companies such as Godrej Consumer Products, Pepsi and finally at Cargill.

After serving in Europe as a Business Head, Oils & Fats, METNA at Cargill, he returned to India to give life to Greenjoules. During his varied experience, he developed an intimate understanding of the Global Supply Chain for Agri commodities. He also became familiar with the different types of Agro wastes produced by industries and witnessed first-hand the trials and tribulations involved in their disposal.

That experience built his resolve to work in the area of Biofuels to help reduce the global environmental footprint of Human Activity. His vast experience enables him to discover solutions to convert what is a waste for some Industries into valuable biofuels that can help reduce GHG emissions and reverse climate change. Greenjoules, from its Facility at Chakan in Pune, produces second generation diesel equivalent biofuels from Agro and Agro industrial wastes, the first of its kind in the world. Currently, the fuel produced by the company is being used by the who’s who of the Indian Industry in sectors like FMCG, infrastructure and pharma.

Mr Pawan Mulukutla is the Director of Integrated Transport, Electric Mobility & Hydrogen at WRI India. Pawan is responsible for providing strategic direction and implementing the overarching objectives of these programs. He also leads the teams’ development of synergistic and action-oriented research programs to support India’s ambitious decarbonization journey through effective, equitable and inclusive mobility solutions. His leadership at WRI India also builds upon the ongoing global dialogue and collaborations towards transitioning to sustainable energy consumption models based on low-carbon pathways.

Mr Pawan Mulukutla has over two decades of professional experience working at the intersection of urban mobility, energy, and environment. He has been at the forefront of various policy developments at the national and sub-national levels to improve the overall energy consumption profile of the transport sector. One of his recent milestones has been leading WRI India’s knowledge support to the development of the National Green Hydrogen Mission announced by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

With technical expertise in the energy and transport domains, Mr Pawan Mulukutla has also enabled the development of several other policy initiatives aimed at the electrification of public transport solutions. He has been a critical force in enabling sub- national systemic changes that have led to the ongoing acceleration of electric mobility at the state level. A well-known sustainable mobility specialist, he has been a part of various national & international panels and coalitions on sustainable transportation. Mr Mulukutla also writes extensively on the themes of sustainable mobility, green hydrogen economy and public transport transformation.

Mr. Sundaresan has been an entrepreneur and a technology innovator, designing both products and processes for the past 34 years. A mechanical engineer by education, his past experiences range from developing hermetic compressors, sheet metal engineering, plant and business digitalization, systems engineering, controls engineering, digital twin, embedded software development tools, and design of commercial electric vehicles.

Mr Sunderasen was part of two start-ups – one wilted, and another got grafted into an MNC. Currently as the Head – New Technologies at Ashok Leyland, he is responsible for identifying technologies of relevance to Ashok Leyland that enable zero emission transport, safety on the roads and commercial viability, and evolving the strategy for their absorption and implementation.

Ms Mugdha Jain is the India Country Lead of Clean Air Fund, a philanthropic initiative tackling global air pollution. She has over 20 years of professional experience spanning advisory and leadership positions in the development sector. Her previous experience is in corporate strategy, business consulting and program management. She also supports social sector organizations on their strategy, operating model, and results delivery.

Ms Mugdha Jain holds an Engineering degree from BITS, Pilani and a master’s in management from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Mr Dmitry Trubitsyn is an entrepreneur and founder of the technology companies CityAir (which produces software and hardware for monitoring and managing air quality, was established in 2018 and delivers air management solutions to cities and the world's largest enterprises) and Tion (which manufactures air purification units, was established in 2006 and is valued at about $50 million). He is also the founder and investor of GetAClass, a major YouTube educational channel about physics, and hosts and interviews prominent scientists for the YouTube channel Just Science, part of the GetAClass ecosystem of popular science channels.

Mr Dmitry Trubitsyn is an opinion leader who regularly appears as a hero in the media including Forbes, Bloomberg, BBC.

CityAir is not the first business launched by Mr Trubitsyn. In 2006, he founded Tion, a company specializing in the development of air purification systems for various premises including medical institutions. The company's annual revenue reached 40 million US dollars.

Mr Dmitry Trubitsyn started his career as a scientist and, while being a PhD student, wrote articles on various issues related to physics and air quality.

As the custodian of entrepreneurship in the organisation, Mr Manas Fuloria is responsible for organization design and internal alignment. He co-founded Nagarro in 1996 and has been full time since 2011. Has also been the Executive Board member at Allgeier from 2014-2020. He specializes in culture and software -defined strategy, organization design, operations, supply chain management, manufacturing, software services, business and social optimization via technology, and entrepreneurship.

Mr Manas Fuloria is NASSCOM Chairperson, Regional Council for Haryana, Founder Trustee at Plaksha University, Founder Trustee at Raahgiri Foundation, and co-creator with Haryana Vision Zero.

Mr Fuloria is an avid cyclist and an environment evangelist. He has led several citizen’s group and raised his voice for usage of public transportation and making the cities pedestrian and cyclist friendly.

Dr Santanu Satapathy is a seasoned Environmental and Sustainability practitioner in the Power sector, having dedicated over 20 years towards sustainability-driven innovation, Energy Transition, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Integrated Water Management, Air Quality, Waste Circularity, Biodiversity Management, Fly Ash Management, etc. He has rich experience in assessing ESG risks, developing decarbonization strategies, identifying key business opportunities, designing, and implementing sustainable practices in technical and non- technical workspaces and advisement on policy and regulations.

Dr Satapathy is serving as a member of the CII Climate Change Council 2023-24 and the CII National Committee on Water 2023-24’ – NITI Aayog working group on water neutrality / water positivity, and also a member of the ‘Blue Rating System Steering Committee’ constituted by the CII-Triveni Water Institute. He is serving on the ‘Advisory Committee for Sustainability Management’ at Mody University, Rajasthan, India, and is an assessor for CII-ITC Sustainability Awards since 2011 and has been awarded best assessor, 2021. Dr Santanu Satapathy was awarded by M/s Transformance as one of the Top 20 Sustainability Leaders in 2023. He was nominated for “Sustainability Leadership Program 2019”, conducted by WBCSD, Switzerland and Yale University, USA.

Dr Satapathy has four international publications in the areas of Cleaner Technology adoption, Climate Change Mitigation, Government Policy, and Green Consumerism. Santanu demonstrates an inner passion towards climatic actions which inspires business thinking towards sustainable value creation.

Dr Santanu Satapathy received his M.Sc. from NIT, Rourkela, and Doctorate (PhD) from IIM, Mumbai.

Mr Vidyut Mohan is an Indian social entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Takachar, a company that recycles agricultural waste into marketable carbon products, offering an alternative to the heavily polluting practice of burning agricultural byproducts.

Mr Vidyut Mohan is born and raised in New Delhi, where pollution severely affects the air quality, especially during the agricultural burn season. He went on to study at RV College of Engineering, completing a thesis project in response to the water crisis among India's farmers. The project was a software platform that generated estimates of water needs to optimize use of solar pump systems.

Mr Mohan studied for a master's degree in Sustainable Energy Technology and Sustainable Entrepreneurship from the Technical University of Delft. In 2014, while a student at Delft, he began exploring alternative methods for disposing of agricultural waste, or biomass, on the belief that a reduction in agricultural burning in India could be one way to meet the urgent need for better air quality.

Mr Shubham Singh is the director of Futuristic Materials Labs (FUMA Labs) wherein they are contributing towards a sustainable future through innovative materials and a circular economy structure. In 2017, he was selected as a fellow for Social Innovation Immersion Programme, a fellowship conceptualised under BIRAC, Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. His startup work is being recognised at various platforms and has received several awards such as BIRAC SOCH Innovation Challenge Award, millennium alliance award etc. He is an alumnus of Pitch at Palace, an initiative by Duke of York and had the privilege to be in the audience of HM Queen Elizabeth II at St James’s Palace. Mr Singh has been associated with social issues from a young age. He founded a non-profit Gramiksha in 2011, at the age of 19. Since then, he has been able to make a constructive change in the lives of less privileged kids and expanded the organization in 6 cities within 2 years of its inception.

Mr Shubham Singh holds a Masters in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. He actively shares his views on entrepreneurship, climate change and education and is a TEDx speaker.

As Chief Executive Officer of Grant Thornton Bharat, Mr Vishesh Chandiok leads the execution of the Firm’s strategy and vision and is responsible for its operations and growth. Mr Chandiok drives the Firm’s relationship with some of the most dynamic private, public, and multinational clients and assists them in unlocking their growth potential. He has been involved with UK and US IPOs of several Indian businesses and cross-border acquisitions by Indian companies and has helped global multinationals succeed in India.

For over 20 years, Mr Chandiok has been one of the most vocal promoters of the need for Indian family businesses to adopt formal governance structures and succession planning frameworks, thereby preserving business legacy. He has been the primary advisor to the World Bank’s report, Observance of Standards and Codes (ROSC), on accounting and auditing. In collaboration with large corporates, the audit profession and regulators, the report set out the action plan on accounting and auditing for India.

Mr Vishesh Chandiok works closely with the global Grant Thornton network and its member firms. He has been associated with several global committees, including the Senior Leadership Program at SAID Business School, the University of Oxford, and in incubating Global Research and Global Delivery from India for benefit of the network. On 1 January 2016, he became the youngest member to be elected to the Global Board of Governors of Grant Thornton International Limited, the ultimate decision-making authority within the Firm.

Mr Vishesh Chandiok is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, UK, and holds a Master of Science in Business and Management from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He has been working with Grant Thornton in the UK and India for over 20 years.

As Director, Policy & Global Engagement, Mr Scott Hanson is responsible for coordinating IFAC’s engagement strategy with global organizations and non-accountancy stakeholders. Mr. Hanson also leads IFAC’s policy and advocacy related to anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and economic crime, and oversees IFAC’s engagement in donor-funded capacity building initiatives. In this role, Mr. Hanson has led IFAC’s engagement with the B20 as a Network Partner during the Saudi, Italian, Indonesian presidencies and now leading the same during the current Indian Presidency.

Mr. Hanson began his career in markets’ supervision roles at the NYSE Regulation and FINRA (the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in New York, before transitioning into international regulatory policy at FINRA in Washington, DC.

Mr. Hanson then worked in regulatory policy within the European System of Financial Supervision at the Central Bank of Ireland (Dublin), touching on diverse policy areas across the Bank and leading the establishment of the Central Bank of Ireland’s Innovation Hub.

Mr. Hanson holds a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

Dr Kalpana Seethepalli is the Director of ESG for Asia Pacific and leads the work on results frameworks, measurement, monitoring and sustainable finance taxonomies for ESG transactions.

Dr. Seethepalli brings 20 years of sustainable finance experience across 15 countries from the multilateral and private equity markets. She is a global expert in design, measurement, and reporting frameworks to achieve positive ESG impact through commercially viable investments.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Dr. Seethepalli was Managing Director, Sustainability & Impact for Infra-Tech Capital, an impact fund investing in companies utilizing technology to provide infrastructure services and achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She joined Infra-Tech Capital after a long career with the World Bank Group focusing on sustainable development and investment policy, blended finance and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). She has $2 billion in direct investment experience in sustainable finance, and led complex World Bank advisory mandates in Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Mexico, Philippines, South Korea, South Africa, Poland, Timor Leste, Kenya, and Ghana.

Dr. Seethepalli led the World Bank Group’s dialogue with APEC, ASEAN, G20 Finance Ministers, multilaterals, and development partners, and is a frequent speaker participant on sustainable financing at global fora, such as the World Economic Forum, convening private investors, advisors and thought leaders. She has also strengthened dialogue with NGOs and global civil society on ESG issues on live investments.

Dr. Seethepalli has a Ph.D. in Strategic Management & Public Policy focusing on infrastructure privatization in emerging markets from George Washington University, USA.

Mr John Boulton is a Chartered Accountant. He is Director of Policy at ICAEW and leads ICAEW’s policy work internationally. He has been an auditor, preparer and analyst of listed company corporate reporting and works with regulators and professional bodies around the world to support corporate transparency and the sustainability transition.

Ms Scarlet Wannenwetsch joined the Basel Institute in 2017. She heads the Institute's engagement with the Business 20 (B20) on corruption as Deputy Co-Chair of the Integrity and Compliance Task Force in 2021/22 and as a network and knowledge partner in the previous years. In her role as Collective Action Specialist, Ms Scarlet Wannenwetsch leads the Collective Action Mentoring Programme and Collective Action activities globally.

Since 2021 she also lectures at the International Anti-Corruption Academies Master in Anti- Corruption Compliance and Collective Action programme.

Ms Wannenwetsch holds a Law degree (LLB) from Kings College London as well as a Masters (LLM) from the Free University of Berlin focusing on Public International Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Ms Carol Hansell is an internationally recognized expert in corporate governance. Following over 30 years of practice in leading law firms, she now leads an independent firm of lawyers and consultants dedicated to advising boards, management teams, institutional shareholders, and regulators in connection with legal and governance challenges. Ms Hansell has served on boards of organizations across a variety of sectors – public companies, Crown corporations, financial institutions, healthcare, not-for-profit and arts organizations. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors, the ESG Center at the Conference Board and the American College of Governance Counsel.

Ms Carol Hansell is a Vice Chair of Business at OECD (BIAC) which provided input on the revisions to the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. She has written widely on the governance of climate change and on ESG more broadly.

Ms Madhulika Sharma has thirty plus years of work experience – 29 years in Tata Steel where she has worked across various functions including working as Executive Officer to Managing Director and Chief Corporate Sustainability. She decided to move on and joined ITC as Chief Sustainability Officer in Dec’ 21. Passionate about Sustainability and is committed to integration of Sustainability into all functions of Business her areas of specific interest are Climate Change and mitigation actions for transition and adaptation, adoption of diversity and inclusion at workplace, embedding sustainability in the supply chain, product sustainability and adoption of digital for rendering sustainable solutions.

Ms Sharma was recognized as one of the top 25 Sustainability Superwoman in Asia by CSR Works, Singapore in 2019. She is a Member of CII’s National Committee on Climate Change.

Ms Madhulika Sharma is a B Tech (Electrical Engineering) from BIT Sindri in 1991 and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Executive Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 2002

Ms Michele Lemmens is the APAC Head of Business Sustainability and CTO for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). In this role she is responsible for championing, shaping, and bringing to life new sustainability initiatives with stakeholders. She facilitates access to the depth and breadth of TCS capabilities, solutions, Research & Innovation and COIN and partners to deliver measurable economic, social, environmental outcomes that have industry relevance and value.

Ms Lemmens was earlier responsible for establishing the Regional ASEAN Hub for Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) on secondment and worked across stakeholder groups in the region as an advocate for sustainability, building capability and engaging leaders in ESG dialogues to enable better decisions, based on information that matters. She has extensive experience in mature and emerging markets in consulting, sustainability, digital transformation, innovation, financial services, alternate proteins and not for profit. She has successfully led the formulation of new business models and propositions often driven through new market entry, M&A, JVs, start-ups, and strategic alliances. Her work crosses multiple industries and spans APAC, ASEAN, Middle East, and UK geographies.

Ms Lemmens advises, co-chairs and contributes to ESG related change with several businesses, communities and academic institutions and speaks regularly at internal and external forums about Sustainability, Innovation, Leadership Start-ups, and Diversity.

She is passionate about the opportunities for businesses to embrace more sustainable business models by harnessing the power of innovation and digital in the way they operate, and champion change, for better triple bottom line outcomes.

Ms Juhi Gupta is the Sustainability Director for Tetra Pak South Asia, overseeing the entire South Asia region including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan. Her primarily responsibility is towards collection & recycling of used beverage cartons & driving awareness on effective plastic waste management. She was earlier leading Sustainability at PepsiCo in India, leading their water & plastic efforts. She led the community water programs focused on conservation of water resources & driving water stewardship through building institutional community models for sustainability of the programs. She also drove the plastic waste management efforts for PepsiCo in India as per the EPR obligations.

Prior to PepsiCo, Ms Gupta was leading the CSR programs for Monsanto in India working on thematic areas of education, nutrition, water & sanitation, women empowerment, & sustainable agricultural practices. She has worked with leading NGO partners like WaterAid, Smile Foundation, CARE, Akshayapatra, AFPRO, Room to Read, Habitat for Humanity, Alternative Development Initiatives (ADI), ISAP et al.

She has an experience of 19+ years managing various facets of Corporate Affairs, starting her career in Government Affairs & moving on to becoming a CSR & Sustainability practitioner. She has initiated various Public Private Partnership (PPP) programs with Governments of Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, Jharkhand on boosting maize productivity for better economic returns for the farmers. She has been recognized amongst most influential Sustainability Leaders of India at the Sustainability Leadership Summit in 2019.

Ms Juhi Gupta has a certification from Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) for completing the programme on “Strategizing Sustainability & CSR Projects Development”. She also has a certificate of honour from Bennett University, a Times Group Initiative for completing the first CSR Practitioner Series. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, after completing her Graduation in English Literature from Delhi University.

Mr Narayan P.S is the Global Head – Sustainability, Wipro Ltd and the Managing Trustee and Head – Wipro Foundation, the social initiatives arm of Wipro Ltd. He was instrumental in the creation of Wipro’s sustainability program and has stewarded it since its inception in early 2008. Wipro’s Sustainability Charter is built on the core principle that business and social purpose must reinforce each other in addressing several key challenges the world faces.

Among the several recognitions of Wipro’s leadership in this space are: 13-time member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (World), and part of the CDP Global ‘A’ List. Mr Narayan is also involved in sustainability advocacy as a member of several industry forums. He is currently the Chairman of the Bangalore chapter of CII-Godrej Green Business Centre, Member of World Economic Forum’s advisory groups on Climate Change, Air Quality and Stakeholder Capitalism and of GRI South Asia’s Advisory Steering Committee

Prior to the current role, Mr Narayan was the Global Head of Information Systems for Wipro’s IT business, when he was chosen as one of CIO’s global 25 Ones to Watch. A graduate in Electrical Engineering with a post-graduation in Management, he has nearly 30 years of cross- disciplinary experience in Business Development, Enterprise Systems and Corporate Sustainability.

Mr Jayant Roy is an accomplished Senior executive with over 20 years of experience in diverse segments like Consumer Durables, Healthcare, and Textile Services. He is currently the Managing Director at Lindstrom Services India Pvt Ltd. the leading textile Service Provider in India. Previously, he has held management positions at companies like LG Electronics, IFB, and Hindustan Latex Limited.

Over the course of two decades, he has developed a deep customer understanding by building relationships across different business sectors, multiple geographies, and functions. He is passionate about People Development through ‘We Care Leadership’ and Sustainability.

When he is not driving strategic Business initiatives and ideating to create opportunities for greener tomorrow, My Roy can be seen doing road trips with his furry friends and family!

Mr Bipin Odhekar heads the Sustainability, EHS & Operations Excellence function at Marico. He has done his post-graduation in Production Engineering and Executive Management from IIM Bengaluru. His professional experience of 23 years of spans over multiple areas like sustainability, operations, projects, quality, safety, and process excellence. He implemented various projects in improving process efficiency and manufacturing cost.

As a Sustainability Head for Marico, Mr Odhekar was instrumental in developing the function. He played a key role in creating a sustainability pathway for Marico which includes strategy, targets, and governance mechanisms for disclosures. Along with the sustainability team, he helped Marico to achieve prestigious recognitions and sustainability goals.

Apart from professional accountabilities in Marico, Bipin Odhekar, is also member of professional bodies like Assocham, GreenCO, RAI and CII in various capacities.
