CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development is implementing a project on “Promotion and Adoption of Responsible Business Practices by Corporates in India” under the Siemens Integrity Initiative. The overall project goal is to sensitize, capacitive, and help large companies to adopt responsible business practices & influence their supply chain, including the involvement of local stakeholders and dialogue with government agencies. It is with this background that we are organizing Road Shows on Promotion & Adoption of Responsible Business Practices in the Indian Corporate Sector on 9 May in Chennai and 11 May at Bangalore. Through these road-shows, we intend to create awareness and ensure a multiplier affect with improved corporate governance resulting in reduced exploitation in the Indian business environment.
