Business resilience is more critical than ever in today's dynamic and uncertain environment. With several evolving ESG reporting standards globally, there is a need for a standard reporting for industries and investors. Considering this thought, SEBI introduced BRSR as mandatory reporting in 2021, for the top 1000 listed entities as per market capitalization.

Thereafter, keeping a pace with evolving standards and assurance requirements from industries, SEBI in July 2023 released BRSR Core. BRSR Core is a sub-set of the BRSR, consisting of a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / metrics under 9 ESG attributes. The new BRSR format has been placed in Annexure II. From FY 2023-24, the top 1000 listed entities (by market capitalization) shall make disclosures as per the updated BRSR format as part of their Annual Reports. This may then, be expanded to other listed organizations.

To equip the corporate leaders and practitioners across industries and various sectors on ESG reporting
basis the new BRSR Format, the Centre will conduct a 2-Day Online Training session on BRSR Core
Reporting.

The training session will provide an opportunity for the participants:

• For understanding the new BRSR Core format (Annexure II),
• Understand the difference between old BRSR format & new BRSR Core Format,
• To able to develop a BRSR report for their organization basis the new BRSR Core Format,
• Discuss challenges faced during development of BRSR report,
